Mpho Moletlo Kgosietsile is the Managing Director of Wise Leadership (Pty) Ltd, a Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial Consultancy which was established 12 years ago as a 100% citizen owned company offering Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial Consultancy and Training services to a diverse clientele in Botswana, regionally and internationally. She is a seasoned Company Secretary and Corporate Governance Practitioner with over 20 years of industry experience.

Mpho founded the Responsible Citizen Magazine under the Wise Leadership banner. The Magazine is a digital Pan-African publication with a global perspective, that outlines and promotes sustainability through positive change and advocacy. The publication is a key tool that drives all stakeholders towards achieving Environmental, Social and Governance objectives. The Responsible Citizen Magazine supports the notion that our planet, the people that call it home and profits generated through enterprise are inextricably intertwined.

Professional

Mpho is a Fellow with the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa (FCG), possessing an MSc Corporate Governance from the London South Bank University in London, Great Britain, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Double Major in Economics and Environmental Science) from the University of Botswana. She is also an Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (Grad ICSA, UK) graduate. Mpho has trained with the World Intellectual Property Organization, Geneva, Switzerland, on Intellectual Property and the Africa Management Development Institute, in Swaziland, on Strategy Development and Balanced Scorecard.

 

Mpho’s industry experience comprises of working at Companies and Intellectual Property Authority (CIPA) where she was instrumental in the reviewing, drafting and the subsequent implementation of the Companies Act and its regulations as well as the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act.

Mpho’s experience as a qualified Company Secretary saw her being appointed as the registered Corporate Company Secretary for a number of high-profile companies. In her capacity as a Corporate Governance Advisor, Mpho has successfully aided companies with multi-million Pula transactions. She has conducted Board Assessments through Board Assessment Tools that she has developed for various organisations and amongst others, provided Board Dynamics Advisory, Recruitment of Independent Non-Executive directors, Compliance and Risk Management Advisory and developed Governance frameworks. Through Wise Leadership, she has facilitated organisations spanning from SOE’s, Private and Public Companies , Pension Funds, Professional Institutions and Not For Profit Organisatons with Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial Services.

As a qualified and registered trainer, Mpho has hosted several trainings of Botswana Qualifications Authority accredited courses to a diverse audience of different backgrounds. Mpho has conducted Botswana Qualifications Authority Accredited Board Inductions for various organizations’ Boards ofDirectors and Boards of Trustees.

In 2019, Mpho engaged in an Industry Learnership in Bermuda to expand her knowledge on Corporate Administration, KYC, On Boarding, Engagements, Risk Assessment and Statutory and Regulatory Compliance.

Mpho serves in the Board of Directors for Legal Aid Botswana and is the Chairperson of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee of the Board.

REGINA RAMANTEBA

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Regina Ramanteba has a total of 22 years of corporate working experience. Five years as a Social Worker with the Gaborone City Council. Five years of Banking experience with Stanbic Bank in all departments of the bank up to the position Operations Manager. Seven years with DCDM Consulting as a Project Manager, four years with BDO Consulting as a Project Manager and finally 15 years with Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants as Human Resources & Administration Manager (10 years) and 5 years as Manager – Apprenticeship.


Regina Holds a Degree in Human Resources & Industrial Relations and Stellenbosch Management Development Programme Certificate. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in strategic management (due for completion in 2024).

Between 2007 and 2013, Regina acted in the position of CEO of BICA during the CEOs absence and this has contributed immensely to her people management skills. Regina brings a wealth of experience from working in various corporate organisations and attending various management courses and workshops locally and internationally
